Almost summer, or so says the calendar. The weather suggests that summer has already arrived - and we're excited to announce a Red Tree Collective summer show taking place on the long Canada Day weekend at Sea Star Vineyards.
We hope that our loyal gallery followers along with friends and family will find their way to Sea Star for wonderful artwork, exquisite wines, gourmet hors d'ouvres, and melodious bass and guitar music by Cole Dine.
Red Tree Gallery is festive and full as we continue to celebrate twelve wonderful years. The
gallery is open for 14 more days and we look forward to welcoming islanders and visitors
alike as we count down.
Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11 to 4, and we are open for an additional
day on Tuesday Dec 26th. http://www.redtreegallery.ca
Red Tree Gallery launches its Grand Finale show for December with
chocolates and bubbly this Saturday, December 2nd. Join us between
11 and 4 as we thank the Pender community for 12 years of patronage.
Come out of the rain and wind to help us remember the good times at Red Tree Gallery.
We're counting down; the gallery will close December 31st.
Red Tree Gallery has chosen "Remembering" as the title of our November show. With the closure of our gallery in sight, we want to remember those who have been members over the years since the gallery's inception 12 years ago. We look forward to welcoming you Wednesdays to Sundays, 11 - 4 (Remembrance Day we will open at noon).
Below you will see photos of the Red Tree Gallery as it looks this month. We hope you will come out of the cold into the warmth of Red Tree; sadly we're counting down. Those of you who read the Pender Post will have seen this already. It is reprinted here for those of you who don't know the latest gallery news.
Pender Islands Artisan Cooperative has operated the Red Tree Gallery at Hope Bay for over twelve years. Artists have kept the gallery open through busy summers and quiet winters, and visitors and Penderites alike have expressed tremendous appreciation for the visual feast and tranquil atmosphere that greets them as they walk through the doors. Thirty Pender artists have shown their work at the Red Tree over the years, and the work of a dozen guest artists has been featured over the last three summers.
Sadly we have taken the decision to close the gallery at the end of this year. However the Red Tree Cooperative will continue with a plan to mount one or more shows each year. Look for updates in the coming months. We will sign off with "Remembering" in November and a thank you to the community in December and hope that you will continue to visit the gallery between now and then. Thank you for your generous support over the years and for pointing your guests in our direction.

Through the Looking Glass continues at Red Tree Gallery. The whimsical work of Diane Kremmer,

Looking Glass theme. To October 4th. http://www.redtreegallery.ca
